A man came to us at Private Investigator in Liverpool in the hopes of finding the parents that had put him up for adoption at the age of three. Though the client had been interested in finding out about his birth parents for some time the information help by the adoption agency and his adoptive parents was limited and seemingly outdated and so he came to us for help.

Using the limited information the client had available to him we began the investigation with a series of routine checks and information sweeps that we hoped would uncover further details of the individuals. Soon into the investigation information on a much more recent address for the pair was found which we looked into by setting up static surveillance on the property. It soon became clear that the two individuals in the residence were the parents of the client from the photographs that he had managed to obtain of them. The couple looked content though not well off and quite isolated.

The client was presented with a report of the evidence we had gained and following the investigation made contact with the parents who had abandoned him forty years before. The couple were now quite elderly and had no other family and were eager to hear from the client who was finally able to find out why they had given him up for adoption. He was told that the couple had been very badly off and felt that he would have the best chance in life with another family though they were now very happy to make contact again.
