We were contacted by a concerned mother who was worried that her son was not telling her the whole truth about some aspects of his life. The client came to us through Investigator Agency Liverpool with concerns that her son had got in to some difficulties with some friend’s which involved the police and a drugs raid though he denied any involvement with the scandal that had upset the local community. Despite all her efforts the client just could not believe that there was nothing wrong and when she tried to question her son about what he did do on the night he would become very angry.

To resolve the tension between her and her son and to find out the truth about his involvement in the case the client requested that her son undergo a polygraph or lie detector test to determine whether or not he was lying to her. After the client established a set of questions with an operative her son was attached to the monitors of the test machine which would record his responses to the questions.

Throughout the discussion of the criminal activity all of the individual’s results came back negative and so his involvement was beyond question. However when asked about his whereabouts on the night in question several markers were flared up. After further investigation it was discovered that the client’s son was not at the raid because he was with the woman he was having an affair with who was also the client’s best friend.
