A very confused client called Detectives Liverpool after receiving the revelation that he was allegedly the father of a child of a former lover whom he had had a very brief encounter with some years earlier. Being now in a new and long-term relationship he was very keen to prove to the accusers parents that he was not the father and that she was making it up simply to get back at the real father whom had abandoned her and of course prove the truth to his partner.

It was explained to him that a polygraph examination would be the best course of action particularly as the accuser was not willing to be party to a DNA test and that this would be conducted at a location of his choosing by a qualified polygraphic examiner who would give the most accurate results possible.

The test was duly conducted and after a short wait it was revealed to his relief that he was in fact telling the truth about the events and was never in a sexual relationship with her at or around the time of conception of the child in question.
