A call came in to Detective Agency Liverpool from a man whose wife had died a year previously. She had had a lengthy illness and he had cared for and nursed her through the last weeks of her life at home with the help of one of his wife’s friends. After she passed away our client found that he missed his day to day contact with his wife’s friend and decided to get in touch. She was a freelance hairdresser who visited her clients at their homes. She came to cut his hair soon after and they formed a good friendship and one which he wanted to take further. However she had told them many a time about the dates she went on with her customers and our client wanted us to check her out before he took the relationship any further.
We told him that surveillance was the best option to record her movements and a Friday and Saturday would be the best days to make a realistic judgment of her behaviour. This was agreed and our operative was instructed to commence covert surveillance of the Target the following Friday where she was observed attending her various hairdressing appointments and at home all evening and on the Saturday our operative observed and followed the Target as she left home with her two teenage daughters and went to a shopping centre to have some lunch and do some shopping. They returned home later in the afternoon. From here she did not leave her home until the following morning when she went to have lunch with our client.
Our operatives report was of the opinion that this was not the behaviour of a single woman with a wild social life and our client was happy with the results.
